Nice to meet you.

I am Scott Bartolomeo.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always adored photography of all kinds. From getting that first polaroid, to a Nikon point and shoot camera, and up to where I am in the Canon realm, I always thought that the ability an image has to lock that special moment in time and convey pure emotion though evoking thoughts and feelings is one of the most important aspects of life itself. Our biological connection to other people and this planet is where eventual love starts, and I am truly grateful to be a part of this world, truly grateful for all the wonderful people in my life, grateful for who I am. I feel that a true passion emanates from the heart, and a picture really is worth a thousand words.

I was born in New Jersey in 1983, lived in Pennsylvania until I was 12, and moved with my family in 1996 to Reno. I am a very talented and motivated individual, and art is part of my blood, as it is throughout my family. I am calm, compassionate and intelligent; I am funny and easy going; Your session with me will be light and stress free, with subtle direction to get those desired shots you didn’t know you wanted!

Throughout my life, I’ve always had a immense desire to learn. With photography, I constantly ask myself, “ what is the story I am intending to convey? What am I allowing my viewers to feel?” I’ve had my hands in so many things over the course of my life. I’m a chef. A mechanic. A musician. A graphic designer. A ceramic artist. A linguist. An actor. Those things are great, however there’s always been a sustaining passion in my mind’s eye -

PHOTOGRAPHY.
